Spent 4 hours here. Husband was in heaven and kids enjoyed it :-) Huge place. Sad that you could only look and not get on trains :-(

“Car park alternative.”
Reviewed February 23, 2014

The only thing that seems to bother most people in the reviews is the cost of car parking. A good alternative is to use the Park and Ride. The green route from Rawcliffe Bar passes the front door of the museum with a stop right outside. Car parking is free and currently an adult return fare is £2.70 with 2 under 16s travelling free with every full fare paying adult.

“TRAINS!!! (and cake).”
Reviewed February 23, 2014

Once again I dragged the woman around the NRM. I just love this place.

If you've got a thing for Industrial Heritage - BOOM! This is the place.

I bribe my better half with coffee and cake or afternoon tea when we visit, and this seems to appease her. (Though I think she is jealous about my relationship with 'The City of Truro').
