My Wife, Son and I decided to have a spot of lunch here whilst on a visit to York. We decided to have our favourite Onion Soup but were very disappointed by what we were given. It's been a couple of years since visiting a Café Rouge but considering the price charged. the portion of soup and small piece of sliced Baguette + Melted Cheese floating on the top was not worth the money. When we asked for some extra bread we were brought 6 x tiny slices of Baguette and again charged an outrageous amount. If we'd been in France and ordered food, it's quite normal for Bread to be supplied either FREE or certainly unlimited amounts. I for one was very disappointed and feel that either this branch or Café Rouge are cutting corners. This is not the way to treat Customers and you have lost my Custom !
