We stayed here after completing day 2 of the way of the roses - we booked a table a few days before, we were served promptly and the and the waitress was very polite. The decor is a little dated yes but hey who cares when the food is so delicious ! It is an old country pub what would you expect....I had the steak and ale pie which is the nicest I have ever had, very light pastry which melted in your mouth! Lovely evening and would recommend
