My wife and I often visit York and have seen this restaurant slightly hidden just off a busy side street several times. On a recent visit to York we decided to have lunch there and had a really good and very reasonably priced meal. I had chicken and chorizo pasta which was slightly spicy and very tasty, and my wife had chicken and mushroom kebab which was cooked to perfection. Both main courses from the a la carte menu were less than £10, desert, coffees and half a litre of house wine brought the bill to £33. The service was friendly and efficient even though the restaurant was almost full, and it was great to be able to sit outside under the heaters.
