Wonderful scones. Great staff Spotlessly clean. Dog friendly.
Coffee certainly could do with improving. Tasted more like filter than Americano

We're really pleased you enjoyed your visit but I'm sorry to hear that your weren't as happy with the coffee.
All our coffee is locally sourced from a nearby roastery and freshly ground to order so it shouldn't take like filter coffee - we'll look into this and hopefully if you come back again, you'll be happy with everything!
Best Wishes,
The Ginger Cow Team

Luckily this place popped up on social media so having had a walk in the local area, I took my son for afternoon tea - we were so pleased we did!
What a perfect place for families with young children. There’s an outdoor area for them to play with toys & plenty of seating. We ended up sitting inside as the heavens opened & it was great because there was no issue with our Pooch being allowed in. The decor of the cafe is lovely, very stylish.
We had afternoon tea for 2 - a selection of sandwiches, a couple of delicious cakes each followed by a fresh scone with jam & cream. A good pot of tea was also included & all for £22 which was excellent value. Cakes can also be bought to takeaway (which I did, chocolate brownies for my hubby & younger son & they thoroughly enjoyed them too)!
It feels like a real find & we will definitely return!

I visited The Ginger Cow this week to meet a friend for lunch and I was really impressed! It was in a lovely spot, just off the A1079 at Everingham. The building was lovely with lots of windows and nice decor. There is plenty of space for parking. The food was fantastic-great portions and freshly made.i opted for the soup (butternut squash) and half a sandwich which was generous and delicious. We were impressed by the afternoon tea which was beautifully presented and looked amazing-definitely one to try next time!
It was also lovely to see the newly arrived highland cows in the nearby fields. A lovely new find and well worth a visit!

Tucked away in the village of Everingham this little tea shop is amazing. Firstly it is very child friendly with a gated and fenced grass lawned garden and an area of outdoor toys to entertain them. It's dog friendly too. Plenty of outdoor seating but may get a bit busy indoors if the weather is bad. Now onto the food - a terrific menu with plenty of healthy options - no fast food here! And the cake choice was wonderful! I think all dietry intolerance are catered for, e.g. gluten, lactose and even had a choice of plant milks if you wanted. I was very impressed with the whole set up.
