Lovely house. Everything you need is there. Lovely welcome basket. Very clean. Love the extra luxuries very well decorated and furnished. Very close to town.
Beech House was beautiful, it was close to the town and was equipped with everything you could possibly need
Thank you Bridget for a wonderful weekend away
Very well appointed kitchen and two decent rooms for families to sit and relax watching TV. 3 bathrooms but only 2 showers. Outside steps are steep and could be slippery in winter but furniture in house is plentiful and in excellent condition.
Parking can be difficult immediately outside house but can always find within a short walk to the house.
Worst thing is the noisy seagulls but then we are very near harbour.
Overall an excellent choice, Bridget is a very good host and the welcome pack was brilliant, will be very sad to leave. Many thanks
Excellent house plenty of space and beautifully decorated., great location in town and close to everything you would need. Easy to book and any correspondance was superb. Hassle free. Lovely family house holiday.
A really homely feel to this lovely family house. I had booked this for a family reunion for half term week to include two daughters, husbands, 2 children and a baby. None of us were disappointed and everyone thought I had done so well to book such a lovely place. The large open kitchen dining room and lounge was extremely bright and airy and worked perfectly for quality family time together. The weather was amazing and due to the location of the house we were able to walk to the beach with a 7, 4 year old and a baby. As grandparents we chose the top room and were out of the way with our own ensuite and no early start in the morning as completely tucked away, a real bonus! Although busy in town during the school holidays the property was a quiet haven and we made full use of the patio area being able to bbq and sit in the sunshine until quite late. The house was well equipped and a lot of thought had gone into all the little touches. Nothing seemed too much trouble and we felt we knew what to expect. We used the local amenities including the butcher, fish and chip shop and play area. Pannett Park was also a real find for all the children and definitely worth the trek up hill. We caught the bus out to Robins Hoods Bay on the only dullish day and walked back along the coastal path which was a very pleasant couple of hours. Bridget was extremely helpful and easy to communicate with and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Thank you Bridget especially for organising the weather!!!
