this is the second time in this guest house. It just keeps getting better every visit our room was looking out to sea.the room was spotlessly clean .the breakfast was first class has always cooked to order by brain. parking can bee a problem in whitby but it must have been my day managed to park out side sea view. what can you say what has all ready been said. first class keep up the good work

Room Tip: we prefer the sea view rooms.

Just had two nights at this fantastic B&B. Agree with everything the previous review says. Everything you could wish for, spotless room with lots of nice extras - excellent location - most delicious breakfast! Brian & Abby are the perfect hosts. Will definitely be returning. Very highly recommended.

Just returned today (1st Sept 13) from a weekend stay with my hubby, sisters and brother-in- laws after a recommendation from our cousin. What a great place! Nice hosts, lovely rooms with comfy beds, delicious breakfasts ( including fresh fruit, home made preserves and lime & lemonade). Rooms have everything you could ever need and more with extra touches including a fridge, fresh milk, bottled water, yummy home made Parkin, good selection of tea, coffee etc. nice toiletries......and not forgetting the wonderful 1930s furniture and accessories.

Room Tip: Room 4 is a good size, with views over the pretty garden.

After reading reviews about Seaview decided to give them a call fortunately there was 1 room left.
well were we do start... first of all a big thanks to Brian and Abby. From first moments of arrival they could not do enough for us, there was no parking space available so they moved their own car for me, and as for breakfast!! best ever. All in all could not fault, clean friendly and welcoming.I have stayed at some big hotels but this has got to be one of the best ever.

We decided on Seaview after reading all of the reviews and were not disappointed. Brian and Abby really are excellent hosts. We stayed for our Anniversary (6th, 7th August) in room 7 and had wonderful views of the harbour and the abbey. Brian and Abby pay so much attention to detail. Seaview is in a perfect location, tastefully decorated and our room was immaculate. Breakast was superb, without doubt the best we've ever had. There was so much to eat that we lasted until tea without eating again (well, did manage an ice cream). Would go back in a heartbeat and highly recommend.

Thanks Brian and Abby - from sunny Seaton Carew.

What a find! We stayed for a week in Whitby which I can truly say was made wonderful by the hospitality of Brian & Abby in their immaculate B& B! Believe all the reviews - in fact stay there & experience it for yourself. We are so glad we did! We've never stayed in Whitby before even for a short break, and now have decided we will not stay anywhere else in Whitby, so good was our time in The Seaview!! Although we didn't have a sea view our view was of the beautiful, colourful garden. We highly recommend The Seaview to all. Thank you Brian & Abby
