“a 50's diner in Whitby!”
Reviewed November 7, 2012

we'd not seen this before, and were glad that we checked it out.
For me, the side of chips were big enough to share rather than have on my own

“A big Surprise!”
Reviewed November 7, 2012

Forgot to make a Restaurant booking for Saturday night, big mistake! Found ourselves outside Jumpin Jacks just before closing time. No problem, welcomed in.

First look at the menu, seemed just another burger joint, not so! The size & quality of the burgers and other food on the menu leaves somewhere like burger king miles behind!

Very good service and friendly with it, even though the girls had been on their feet since the morning.

OK it's not 5 star dining, but much, much more than just another burger joint.

“Not a bad meal”
Reviewed November 3, 2012

Service was a bit slow and due to large booking not turning up we were seated at the bar. Limited menu but what was served was good. Not able to pay by card and had to go to the bank at the bottom of the hill for cash as the one near wasn't working.

“Fantastic”
Reviewed November 2, 2012

We called in for a milkshake and a burger after noticing how busy the place was. We were so glad we did, the food and atmosphere were great. We both commented on how tasty our burgers were and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

“Great addition to Whitby”
Reviewed November 2, 2012

We ate here on 1st November, ordering 2 x hot dogs with onions and mustard, 1 chilli dog and a portion of skinny fries to share. The staff were very good and looked great in their traditional uniforms. the food arrived quickly and was very good. The hot dogs were large and very tasty. 1 portion of fries between us was perfect as you get a big bowls of them. The decor was very good and a welcome addition to the more tradiotional sea side eateries. Very good value for money too. We will be back as the other items we saw being delivered to tables look very good too.
