We chose this restaurant when we visited Whitby for the day as it was recommended on the Doggie Pubs website. Quite surprised to be honest to find a fish restaurant (rather than a pub) where we could take our dog with us. Anyway, we were all welcomed although we did get a table round the corner - our dog settled down happily and none of the other diners seemed bothered by her being there. We were very pleasantly surprised by how fabulous the food was. We were expecting straightforward fish n chips, but the menu was extensive and so we both opted for the 'combo' - which included scampi, onion rings, breaded mushrooms, chicken pieces, garlic bread and a little basket of chips as well as a piece of battered fish. All of this was beautifully presented and absolutely perfectly cooked. The service was prompt and cheerful too. I can highly recommend this restaurant in what must be a very competitive market - if we are ever in the area I would go back to Whitby just to eat here again.
