Description: A refreshing arty space in the heart of Whitby. Our aim is to create an atmosphere that is vibrant yet minimal, exciting yet relaxing; a perfect place to eat, drink and buy art and small gifts in a range of styles and media. We are the original 'free wifi' venue in Whitby, great connection speeds and a 'can do' helpful staff.

Visited May Bank holiday (saturday). Must confess that part of the reason we went is that it is one of the only cafe's in Whitby that offer Wifi! But Im very glad we did. We had a drink each but my other half got tempted by the cakes (which are very reasonably priced). He plumped for a Cheese scone in the end which he said was lovely
(also thank you for letting me charge my phone!)
We will be back

A calming atmosphere in a crowded area. Light jazz background music with an art gallery on the upper floor - the prints and glass exhibits were worth looking at but unfortunately a shade on the expensive side. However, the proprietors were extremely helpful, courteous and welcoming. The food was excellent with a delicious and substantial sweet potato soup and ham salad sandwich with scrumptious cake for dessert. All served in blissfully ambient surroundings and very highly recommended.

We went here on Easter Saturday , it was hard to spot that there was a cafe upstairs as only a very small sign in the window advertising the fact.
You have to climb a lot of stairs to reach the top, so not disabled friendly or if you had a push chair, but well worth the climb.
The food is all home made and very nice.
I had the coffee cake and a member of my party had the Victoria sponge cake. The piece we were given was enormous and very very delicious .
The staff are very friendly and cheerful, they make you feel like you are a visitor in their own living room.
The art display is very good also ( have to say I did make a purchase )!
Please visit this wonderful place and sample the wonderful cake/food
Well worth the climb.
