My boyfriend and I spent a two days break in this B&B. We had the ground floor room (en-suite) and it was spacious, well-presented, stylish and clean, we were very pleased with it! The breakfast was also good, with yogurt, fruit juice, coffee, tea, cereals, fruits and then a full English or a choice of toast and eggs. Plus, the price is fair, we haven't been disappoint We recommend it surely!

Stayed here for two nights over new year. Well, I say stayed, we actually left early because of the horrid guests.
The B&B it's self is clean, tidy and comfortable. I believe we had the adjoining room someone else has mentioned below.
This was not a problem, until the guests next door checked in. The walls are paper thin, so if you do travel here ask for a NON-adjoining room. As laid back people we tried not to let this bother us and enjoy new year.
However New Year's Eve afternoon tipped it for us. Our neighbours appeared to be right wing extremists, from the profanities from their mouths. As a younger couple we have a high tolerance but this ruined our weekend. We could not find the hoteliers to ask for another room.
After a few hours deliberation we left. We paid our full stay and went. As Brain & Maria had emailed us confirmation of our stay, I presumed they may email to check we got home ok.
Nothing, and we did leave a note to explain why. I would not stay here again based on this experience, but as long as you are not placed in a room next to some violent cretins you will be ok.

We stayed for a couple of days last week and only booked the day we wanted to go. We have stayed here before, hence why we wanted to return. There is only one room we haven't stayed in yet!!!
Lovely and clean, comfortable and a smashing breakfast for a reasonable price. Thank you once again.

Couldn't find anywhere online within budget. Then we came across Hailwood house . It was the last room available .We where a little hesitate to book it, as it was not on suite . But no problem what so ever. Bathroom is right opposite, and its your own bathroom cause all the other rooms are on suite .Great shower , also there are bathrobes in the room for your use lovely touch . Hailwood house is exceptionally clean, nicely furnished, lovely breakfast ,short walk down to front ,great value for money, Brain & Marie perfect proprietors .so what else would you want High recommend ,

beautifully decorated, very clean, comfortable bed and delicious breakfasts with plenty of choice, what more could you want. Brian and Maria your hosts are very friendly and most helpfull with places to visit, and it is only a short walk down to the front.

Room Tip: We stayed in room one on the ground floor which was perfect for me as I have trouble with stairs
