A relatively short trip but perfect for us with a 9 year old. Informative commentary and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Good value for money too. Well worth a look if you fancy a trip out.

Lured in by the man on the quayside saying the dog goes free.
A bit sceptical at first as thought it was just for kids, however we really enjoyed it, great commentary made it an interesting journey, and quite good fun for a really reasonable price. Would recommend.

The first time we did this trip (several years ago) it was almost accidental - it could as easily have been any other boat. Since then, it has been a "must do" for us. It is such fun but, at the same time, they impart a lot of information about Cook's voyages. Customer care is very informal but very high quality.

On busy days in the summer, it is worth buying your ticket earlier than you are hoping to sail. If it is close to a meal time there are many food outlets - fish and chips being the speciality - near by to pass the time while yoiu you wait.

It is well worth the price!

We did the ship tour in the morning which, for a small entry fee, was very well presented & informative. We noticed that they did evening meals & Thursday was curry night (buffet) so we gave it a try & were very pleased we did. A selection of starters was brought to the table, when that was finished we were given plates to help ourselves along with a selection of bread. There was a choice of 4 curries all delicious, the meat cooked to perfection & the sauces were tasty & not too spicy. The restaurant itself is very nicely done out in keeping with the theme. The staff were very friendly & attentive, overall a lovely feel to the place. Well worth a visit both for a look round and to eat
