We were taken to the craven Arms by family that live local. We wanted a hearty Sunday lunch and this was just the place!

The staff are really friendly, we booked a table and were offered drinks and seated quickly. Made our order and the food was with us within 15minutes.

Beautiful pink beef, huge Yorkshire puddings and crisp roast potatoes with lashings of gravy (also a little pot of horseradish each). The veg is also brilliant, perfectly cooked and a good selection. We had extra gravy - no problem! This has to be one of the best roast dinners I've ever had.

Pudding, we had sticky toffee pudding and my father in law had Eton mess.... all delicious.

This is a brilliant pub restaurant with fantastic food. All locally sourced (where possible), cooked beautifully and tasting fantastic.

We'll definitely come here again next time we're in the area and wound 100% recommend!

Fantastic clean and comfortable place with lovely staff who provide an excellent service.  We were a team of 14 doing Three Peaks staying for two nights and they organised our evening meals beforehand so that when we sat down to eat, it all ran very smoothly. There is an excellent choice of tasty dishes to choose from. It was very well set up for breakfast with a nice selection of options which is just what you need at 5am in the morning. This is the second time we have stayed here which we all really enjoyed and a definate recommendation to anyone who is looking for lovely warm welcoming accomodation near the Three Peaks.

Just thought people who comment on how 'unloved' the Craven Arms appears from the outside would like to know, it has a newly painted exterior. Very smart now and shows the new owners are serious about giving the place a face lift. The food is still excellent!

On the final day of this holiday to North Yorkshire we had been very busy walking and site seeing so decided an extra special evening meal was required,

The Craven Arms did not disappoint in any way at all, I have given it 5 out of 5 because you can't give 6, 7 or 8 out of 5,

We had the filet steak cooked Medium and it was to perfection, the Sea bass, mussels, prawn , tagliatelle, there was plenty of fish and again cooked perfectly and the Beef Wellington yet again perfect,

With the nibbles we had to start and the sweats and drinks the bill for 3 came to £90.00

There was nothing at all to fault about the Craven Arms, a warm friendly welcome, great decor, super service and perfect food,

This is a must for any evening meal

We visited on a Thursday and didn't book, I would highly recommend booking in high season or at weekends.

As a bonus there is a great view out of the window as the evening drew to a close

From arrival to departure all the staff were friendly and efficient. The room was comfortable and had all the facilities we needed. There is a small lounge between the bedrooms and restaurant. The restaurant is a pleasant room and the menu offers a good selection and includes some original and tempting items. Both meals were well presented, tasty and most enjoyable.
