It was Good Friday and we decided that we'd go for a long walk.
We came into Norwich and just happened to be walking past The Last Wine Bar and noticed it was open. Amazing. So we thought "why not?"
Even though it was relatively late for lunch, we enquired if the kitchen was still open and was told it would be until 2.30. Perfect.
Settled into a quiet and comfortable table and noticed the meals being served were quite large and looked tasty.
The waitress came over and we ordered wine. A good wine list, although all the "specials" had been sold out. Not as extensive as I would have anticipated, but it was a good, well rounded list, with the average price being approx £25.
The menu was quite extensive and we thought very reasonably priced.
The wine was perfect. Well served.
The meal was very good. One of the better meals we have had in Norwich.
I could see this being a very busy venue at night and would certainly suggest booking.
Great for couples. Enough quite corners to escape the larger tables.
Service is discrete yet attentive.
