went to this restaurant for the first time last week ,bit of a weird set up met some freinds in the bar thinking that was where we were going to eat but when ready to eat we had to go outside across a little ally into the restaurant , however once inside very noisey most of the tables were laid out in straight lines i guess for large parties , not what i would call a place you could warm to,the decor is very plain not very inviting ,as for the food what i had was bland ,i could have done better at home ,but i was hungry and did enjoy it ,not big portions by any stretch of the imagination would have liked extra vegetables included with the dish instead of having to pay extra for them, the desserts were as you would expect , can't remember what my dessert was called but it had two peices of chocolatey squares what i think was ice cream with something in it don't know what! three raspberry's and a bit of white marshmallow not really something i would eat again.as for the price i think it was over the top,for four very small main dishes and four desserts no starters one wine and a coke it came to over £120. would i go again or reccomend it - no

My sister and I went for a meal at The Last to celebrate her birthday. I have to say it was one of the best tasting meals i've had in a long time. The atmosphere was just perfect and staff very attentive. Cant wait to visit again....

Went here with my partner a couple of months ago and was not really blown away. The service is good, but the seating in the seperate dining room area is rather cold and not very atmospheric. The food was satisfactory, but again really nothing to write home about. Would not particularly recommend to others - bit of a "meh" experience overall.

This was my first visit and I don't know why I left it so long as it won't be my last. The food was amazing it looked beautiful and tasted fantastic. The horesradish pana cotta with the smoked salmon was melt in the mouth. Such fantastic flavours in all the dishes and everyone in our party had very clean plates! The sticky toffee and apple puding with apple and cinnamon ice cream and toffee sauce was one of the best I have had. It was very reasonably priced as well @ £36 for 2 and a half (shared dessert) courses along with a bottle on wine.

Visited the restaurant a few weeks ago with a couple of girl friends... We were supposed to be a large group but at last minute several of our friends had to pull out. The staff could not have been more accommodating finding us a smaller table. The food was beautiful and well presented and the wine list makes it very difficult to choose! Will definitely be returning soon and cannot recommend The Last Wine Bar enough!
