“Good overall”

This premier inn is in a great place, parking a few doors up is great, 5 min walk if that into the city centre, tesco express just up the road. Room was great very big for us and baby, front desk staf are great, only issues, one lift out of order and with a pram on the 3rd floor had to wait for it, took a good 5 min one day of waiting. Also food was good but certain items taken off the menu due to the horsemeat issue but we weren't told so when we came to order 2 of the 4 of us were told to re look, service was slow as they were busy but we weren't in a hurry so was ok for us. I would stay again with no issue.

The usual Premier Inn high standards at reasonable cost within a stone's throw from the delights of Norwich city centre and the Golden Star pub on the corner opposite is excellent - good beer, food, good company, top drawer live music.

Fantastic location right in the city centre, but next to lovely riverside walk. Big car park next door that is normally expensive, but free to hotel guests. We checked out at 9:30am but had the rest of the day's free parking in the city. Typically clean Premier Inn. Don't know if we were lucky or this is typical, but we had a bigger than average room for a Prem, including a river view, for the 3 of us.
The only reason this isn't 5 stars is the bar / restaurant (small, not much choice at the bar, 'plastic' food), but there are plenty of good eating places around within 5 minutes' walking time, including an excellent little pub opposite (Golden Star) serving real home-cooked food. Also only 2 lifts (& one out of order when we were there) for a lot of rooms so quite a wait at busy times.

Room Tip: Best prices are if you book early.

a great team!! we have never felt so welcome in a hotel and it is refreshing to see a team working so well together to provide quality rooms, quality food and drinks and an amazing service!!10 out of 10. we will be back.

the reception staff are very knowledgeable of the area...which is a great attribute for a hotel!

the rooms are spotless clean and the beds are so comfortable.

the food is excellent value and the staff in the restaurant....exceptional!

big thank you's to Nikki and Ross for making our stay more enjoyable.

After visiting norwich and staying here last year we thought we'd come back again.....it's right in the city centre with free parking in nearby multistorey, the restaurant is good, the beds are comfy, the breakfast is good (kids eat free)...a good deal at just under £30 a night...travelling with our six yr old..the beds always made up ready for him..they are very family friendly and always helpful...it's premier all the way!!!

We visited Norwich to meet up with our daughter. We needed somewhere close to all the shops, restaurants and bars so Duke Street got our vote. We didn't regret our choice because the Premier Inn team provided excellent service and comfort at an affordable price so why bother looking anywhere else! Thanks.

Room Tip: Nobody above you on the top floor!
