We visited this place last night on the recommendations from others on trip advisor and we weren't disappointed. It was fairly empty for a Saturday night which was a shame as it was an enjoyable experience. I think it's because they're fairly new and the word hasn't been spread yet. Service was great and the girl that served us was very friendly and helpful. We had various starters including tempura vegetable, calamari and fish cakes and they were excellent the calamari is some if the best I've had in this country. For a main I had the king prawns with noodles and ginger served in a traditional pot (I had this on a recommendation from another review on here) it was excellent. Other mains were duck tamarind and weeping tiger (sirloin beef with a spicy soy sauce. It was again all fantastic. I'd definitely come back highly recommended.

Had often driven/walked past The House over the past few months then yesterday early evening decided to take advantage of the warmer weather and take a stroll there. We walked in off the street and were welcomed by a broad smile into a modern, tasteful and comfortably refurbished restaurant. Plants all real, not plastic. The two of us were given a table for four - so much nicer not having to cram dishes into a two foot by two foot square ! We enjoyed a Thai Singha beer, nicely chilled, whilst we perused the menu which contained the usual selection of Thai dishes but with some really interesting added twists. We had the mixed starter platter of tempura vegetables, chicken satay, fishcakes, prawns, pork purses, prawn toasts and dips. The quality was of the highest and obviously very freshly cooked. I had the steak salad and requested that it not be too spicy which the chef observed well. It was delicious with a good portion of steak mixed amongst the leaves, coroiander, tomatoes, cue and onions. Hubby had scallops which we found unusual for a Thai restaurant. Again the portion was good and the scallops cooked to perfection. We shared chicken pad thai noodles, also excellent. All prices were comparable with other Thai restaurants in Norwich. A bottle of good Chilean Suavignon Blance (£14.95) washed down all this lovely food and we had no room for dessert. The two Thai waitresses were efficient, smiley and helpful. At the moment probably the best Thai in Norwich. It is early days and we hope they keep their standards as they are because they are sure to get progressively busier. Good luck for ther summer !

We had an absolutely wonderful evening at The House. The food was so delicious! We had the Huo Hin set menu which had great variety- loads of different things to try, great flavours, lush! The service was swift and friendly and the waitresses are so kind and smiley. Also, the restaurant itself is really pretty and nicely designed- a lovely place to be! Thanks very much- we'll definitely be back soon!

I have to visit Norwuch every now and then because of work and the only reason I stay at the travelodge in town is because this lovely restaurant is next door! Amazing food, you have to try the clay pot with glass noodles and tiger prawns(they are very succulent and huge prawns!), just delicious . And the girls are so lovely and friendly. During my last visit they had just opened the restaurant but now the place looks very elegant and cozy. If you are around and like Thai food, this is a must!

Wonderful experience, wonderful staff. We chatted about our travels around Thailand and were offered advice on where we could go next. Really, really nice people and amazing food. I can't wait to eat here again. The Romanian Pinot noir is also an absolute cracker. Do not consider anywhere else!
