Just returned from three nights at Street Hill Farm, what a lovely site. The owners have put a lot of trouble into the design of the new site and toilet/shower block. The toilets are kept spotlessly clean, they have underfloor heating and are fully tiled. There are two mens toilets, two ladies toilets and one disabled toilet. Only one shower but another is being planned.
All the pitches are large and separated by fences so you feel that you have your own garden. Also very good for people with children and dogs. The large centre of the field is great for children, they can play games without worrying anyone.
The owners are very friendly and look after the site as well as their sheep.
Unfortunately the village shop is now closed but the locals are trying to set up a community shop.
Do have a look at the village hall, the locals showed us around, it's amazing.
Didn't visit the pub, but it looked quite busy.
Only five minutes walk to the river to watch the boats tie up overnight, we were told that if you were lucky you might spot an otter at dusk!
About 30 minutes walk to the boardwalk on Barton Broad, well worth a visit.
Lots of places to cycle to which was great for us.
