Light and airy, often has exhibitions on. Fully library service, tourist information office, cafe and restuarant. An ideal hub for the city centre.

Ordered pizza before a visit to the Theatre Royal and had to ask continuosly when it would arrive. Eventually when it did we had to leave it as we were due at the show.

The forum is a brilliant piece of architecture, light and airy and thoroughly modern, yet somehow it fits right in with the ancient city of Norwich.

It houses the busiest public library outside London, the local BBC studios, and an excellent coffee house and pizza restaurant.

The foyer area frequently features arts and crafts exhibitions: Norwich is a seething hive of cultural and artistic, creative activity, from the world class furniture designer John Barnard (johnbarnard.co.uk) to stone masons, calligraphists, dancers, musicians, painters, weavers. The Forum is the focus for this activity.

This building is relatively new and fulfils all the wishes of the occasional shopper. It houses cafes type restaurants, a huge library, the BBC studios, an open and another enclosed exhibition area, a shop selling tourist bits and pieces, well maintained toilets, an underground carpark and all contained within a bright glass-covered building. The biggest attraction of all is that it is situated bang in the middle of Norwich which makes the theatres, main stores and restaurants within easy walking distance and parking is within a monitored secure environment. Just be careful - if your car is a big limo some of the parking bays are not for you.
