“There go my taste buds!”

Simple food - but isn't a lot of the best food these days supposed to be like that. You take a pitta and fill it with zinginess - the falafel are the best I've had and the spicy sauces are great - added feta and it is quite the most perfect sandwich I have ever tasted.

It's maybe a pity that the place is so small but that perhaps ensures it doesn't lose its individuality. Perhaps better that this little gem is kept a bit of a secret!

“Brilliant”

Have had the moorish, baklava and lemonade twice. Simple and very tasty food with what appear to be excellent and very fresh ingredients. Service is friendly and fast. Tables outside are great. Value for money is outstanding.

“great food”
Reviewed June 23, 2013

It's difficult to find something to eat at lunchtime which you can have on-the-go and for less than £5 but which is healthy and filling - the falafel wraps from here tick all of those boxes. Nice, quick and easy, warm, and relatively diverse as you can alternate fillings and sauces but simple enough that what's on offer is good, so definitely worth a stop.
Only thing is that it the wraps can be difficult to eat neatly - make sure you have somewhere to wash your hands after! Or if you have the time, eat in - doesn't cost any more and is in a nice space.

“Great food, friendly staff, good policies”
Reviewed June 23, 2013

Recently visited Norwich for a week to see some relatives and we walked past this place a couple of times. Each time we went past the smell of the food within was really nice, a little oriental (I'm normally a gammon & chips type of person, infrequently anything more). After our first few walks past we decided to pop in. After never having tried falafel before, it was a new experience. Really delicious food, and freshly prepared by very friendly staff. We tried before buying, and although we were curious about the price (it seemed expensive), when we received two bulging pittas full of freshly cooked falafels and veg it became quite apparent that the prices are actually reasonable for the quantity of food, if not the quality (we're normally eating Subway, so £3 a sub or so, the stuffed pittas were all under a fiver, but none under £3).

Overall, great food, great service, reasonably priced, and the "policy" of allowing people to try it before buying is a great thing for people who are new to falafels. Highly recommended to anyone in the area.

Note this isn't really a restaurant, more of a takeaway I think. They have a few tables outside and 3 seats inside at a breakfast bar style table, but at the bottom of the hill that the shop is on you'll find a small grass area which has some benches, we found that far more comfortable than sitting within.
