This is a bar that serves food, but the tapas menu is interesting and pizza is good too. Recommended, but have an alternative as the place is only small so you may not get in.

I love the picture of the nerdy games shop in town - Not the Workshop which is possible the best casual eatery in Norwich. Amazing tastes, exciting menu choices, fabulous drinks and all set in a cool casual restaurant. True Mediterranean flavour using fresh ingredients put together in a modern way - using influences from the exotic with each and every dish tasting great - Well worth a visit a place for true foodies

So imagine going round a good friend's house who is a great cook. They're not particularly obsessed with one style of cooking over another - they just know what they're doing in the kitchen, are adventurous and always lay on a fantastic meal of some kind. It's a real treat to go there. That's just what The Workshop is like. Everything they do is delicious. Some of what they do is a nice surprise (chicken livers in a divine spicy sauce). It's relaxed and comfortable and informal. Pretty much perfect, basically...

Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable and relaxed atmosphere - bohemian ambience - great food freshly prepared, tasty and unusual combinations.
Love the thin pizza on long boards for sharing with personalised toppings and excellent beetroot salad.
We shall come again and recommend to friends - no booking suited us as we were early but I suppose it could cause a problem on popular nights.

Bar of choice for girlfriend and I in Norwich. Great atmosphere great staff. Took my sons there thinking if they didnt like Tappas style menu then there was always their fab pizza. however they loved the varied dishes as much as us! we ordered some pizza and some other dishes then went back for more. spicy chicken livers are a MUST. There are no reservations here so to be sure of table we try to get there by 7pm. It's a small venue so don't expect to get a table for ten! It's not what the workshop is about.only suggestion would be print extra copies of menu for people to read downstairs. You could even have pencils and paper available for people to right down there orders. I have marked it down for special occasions only because large groups tend to spoil it for others
