Lovely theatre. Modern but very comfortable with good, spacious bars. We ate in the restaurant where the service and food were good.

“The Woman in Black...spellbinding.”

So how do you present a stage production of a book and a film in Norwich... simple, get Julian Forsyth and Antony Eden to perform together. The Theatre Royal provided a stage canted at an angle to allow a full view from all seats of the floor area. Comfortable seats, excellent audio and lighting coupled with a dynamic and polished performance ensured that the theatre delivered as always. The supporting elements such a as refreshments, bars, dining and facilities are all geared up to cater for the mass exodus at the interval. A splendid evening with a fantastic interpretation by a couple of polished and accomplished actors. Once again, a fine night out in a fine city.

“Good time had by all”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 24, 2013

We always try to make an occassion of our visit, usually by having a meal out before hand. Prices for food and drink are a little expensivebut you do tend to expect that. The productions are always very well put together and have no complaints there.
The staff are always very friendly and helpful and the theatre is always lovely and clean, including the toilets!
Thank you for making our visits a real treat!

“Perfect trip”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 23, 2013 via mobile

Everything was excellent in standard apart from the price and range of food. Since my last visit, they have replaced Magnums with smaller, more expensive, cheap-tasting ice creams. They have also removed Matchmakers from their stock.

It was an enjoyable experience overall.
