“Underrated and pleasant place to visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2013

Despite having lived in Norwich for years, only discovered this last winter for the first time, and despite being flooded out, looked beautiful with the trees surrounded by water. My most recent visit took in more of the area that I couldn't access previously due to the flooding. There is a lot to see here both in scenery and wildlife and plenty of walking to do. A really nice place to have a stroll and take in some views.

“what a great area”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2013

Having lived near Marston marshes all my life ,I must say how great it is .Now that this area is open to the public. Now that you can visit at any time of the day ,This area has so much to offer .Lots of great wildlife and great species of birds,
If you visit early in the morning you may be lucky too see Otter. On the river or prehaps Barn Owl flying over the marsh. The woodlands around the edge of the marsh contain many species of wildlife ,Just take your time and keep a look out for them them .You may be serprised at what you find.
Look out for my bird boxs as different species are present,The marsh holds many species of wildflowers. So give this area on the outskirts of the city a visit.
A solid foodpath ,benchs and notice boards telling you about the area,A lovely area for dog walkers .or any one interested in the outdoor life.
Give this relaxing area a try .
A small car park can be found off IPSWICH RD.take the road called Marston lane nxt to the alloments to find the car park. the marshes can be found by walking down the lane about 100yrds on the left hand side.

If my dogs could talk they would say love it!
