Review of Eaton Park

Eaton Park

What a place to spend a few hours with the kids and grandchildren. So much to do and not enough time to do everything. My favourite - the pitch and putt course - 18 holes and quite challenging. Or the more sedate 18 hole putting green. More action - take the kids to the skateboard park, not long open and the bike park. All ages get on well together.
Slides, zip wire, swings and climbing frames for more lively fun whilst oldies can listen to the band or have a coffee.
When it's available - weekends - a train ride is a must. I have seen bowling, tennis and croquet as bonus activities and model boat enthusiasts have a great big pond to sail them in.
Sports include cycle racing, football, cricket and hockey.
The best park in Norwich!

This is such a lovely park, lots to do for all the family (and our dog) and its a perfect place to take the kids and a picnic. Good skate park and a pitch and putt golf course

A park for skate boards and bikes to charge up and down on the concrete play area.
Model steam engines running at the weekend in the summer.
Radio control boats and the odd U boat to see on the large lake.
A band stand and tea shop for the adults to put their feet up.

A really good place to let the children loose in for the day. Just watch out for sandy feet all over the car when they come out of the childrens playground area. Parking can be a problem at the weekend so we park down a side street. Watch out for the double yellow lines and more than my jobs worth to let you stay there.

The perfect place for a cheap, family day out. Kept nice and the play area is really good. Good for taking the bikes or scooters. Lots to do to tire the children out.

I played tennis here this week - I was very impressed at the four brand new tennis courts. Unfortunately, our match was rained off, but I walked back through the circular gardens which are absolutely fabulous. All credit to the keepers of this park. The planting and colour is fantastic. I so enjoyed my 10 minute stroll through the flowers. Also the planting by the pavilion is very pretty. Well worth a visit.
