“Relaxing stay, with great outdoor area”
Reviewed May 16, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We had a great weekend in Norfolk and Beech Barn was the ideal place for us for a couple of days. Ideal for families (but probably not very young children). Table football, table tennis and bunk beads - 7 year old heaven. Great outdoor area to relax with a fire and a beer. Really good value for money.

“Perfect...!”
Reviewed November 7, 2014 for a stay in November 2014

We booked this delightful property as a base for visiting our daughter who is studying in the University of East Anglia. Tom & Rita made us very welcome and had thought of everything, it was like home from home!
The barn was extremely comfortable, very relaxing, and equipped with everything. Covered parking, under the barn, was a pleasant surprise and enhanced the feeling of privacy.
We plan to visit Norwich more in the future and will not hesitate to book Beech Barn as often as possible.

“lovely barn and outside area”
Reviewed May 10, 2014 for a stay in April 2014

Lovely cosy barn conversion, the outside area is fantastic. an undercover area with sofa, chairs table and chairs chimnea and patio heater which is great to sit out in the evening listening to music and having a drink. There is also a table tennis table outside.
Inside there is a kithen and bathroom downstairs which is well equipped, we even had tea bags, coffee, sugar and baked beans lef for us which was a nice extra.
The shower however has no screen or curtain so the floor gets wet!!!
Upstairs is a large open plan room living space and beds all in same room (so no privacy for famillies or groups of friends) There is tv computer and table football for entertainment and some board games. The beds are comfortable and there is a homely feel to the place.
The stairs may be a hazard to young children or dogs as steep and no backs on the steps.
Lovely setting opposite and beside fishing lakes and horse fields behind the property. The long drive leads to a busy road which leads to Norwich or Costessey, the drive is not fenced off so not suitable for dogs who wonder off, although ours was fine. There is 2 dog friendly pubs nearby, the harte which serves great food and the bush (no food), both very welcoming. There is also woods nearby and a few shops and take away places.
Wroxham is a short drive away where you can go a broads boat trips or get fish and chips.
Communication with the property owners is excellent and they answer any questions.
This was an extremely clean place to stay where they have taken care of the property.
We have recommended this place to others and feel it was worth the cost.

“A great week!”
Reviewed March 31, 2014 for a stay in March 2014

Beech Barn is well equipped, comfortable and well located for visiting Norwich. The hosts kindly supplied a walking map of the area. As well as walking this area is great for cycling, we went both directions on the nearby Marriotts Way. Although near a built up area this was a peaceful location. It wasn't the time of year for sitting outside but as other reviewers have commented there is a great seating area outside. Enjoyed playing the table football!
