We had a family birthday celebration meal on a Friday evening with five adults and two children, aged 5 and 11. When my daughter booked, she enquired whether there was a children's menu. There isn't, but the Chef was happy to cook up some Spag Bol for the girls which they enjoyed. I believe some of it may have ended up in the Chef's household for his children!
Although the menu is limited to four choices of each course, every taste is catered for and we all enjoyed what we ordered. The food was excellent and well presented. We took our own wine and were quite happy to pay the corkage. I believe they will be getting a drinks licence in the near future but still offering customers the option to bring their own. Not a lot of restaurants are willing to do that!
The seating arrangements are a little on the cramped side, but given the size of the building it's reasonable.
All in all, a very enjoyable evening with good food and a friendly atmosphere.
