Very impressed with the simple but delicious three course dinner menu for less than £25. Being able to bring your own wine is always a good idea and it was great to discuss the merits over the phone when booking...It was a lovely end to a first visit to Norwich and as it's just around the corner from a great Belgian beer pub the day was complete!

The best meal I've eaten out in a long while. Beautiful, homemade chicken parfait with home made chutney - wonderful rib eye steak, perfectly cooked with real chips followed by a panacotta to dream about. The service by restaurant manager Jonathan, was friendly without being intrusive and he managed to keep all the tables happy, smiling and well fed as I overheard their comments. A little gem, try it - you'll be glad you did.

nice food at a reasonable price, lovely starter of smoked salmon. food is freshly cooked and good service. 2 courses for £10-95 and take your own wine and pay £5 corkage. enjoyed it and will go for lunch again.

There was nothing wrong with the food here, it tasted lovely, it was just the menu on the night was pretty average, steak, chicken and fish ... I had the chicken and it was fine but when you look online you expect to be a bit more special than just chicken, peas and gravy. Maybe on a weekend it will be different but I feel it lacked imagination in the kitchen

Went for lunch mid week and really enjoyed it.
I don't understand why people are complaining about portion sizes, I think maybe if they ate in fine dining establishments they would know that the size is standard.
If you want a massive plate of chips go to a pub.
We had chicken liver parfait which was Devine, followed by seabass and saffron potatoes and green beans which were all delicious and extremely reasonably priced.
Surroundings were perfect for a quiet meal or a party.
Service was first class, the chef/owner and waiter both made us feel very welcome and catered for our every need.
Will definitely be back.
