What you think of the KEVII will depend on what you want. It's central and very cheap. The rooms are spacious. And if you're there for the live music it's really handy! Those are the good things. The less good things... Well, it's all a bit grubby - eg, the shared bathroom has mould and a stale carpet round the toilet. The beds weren't that comfortable. And the music really is loud (though stopped before midnight, and we had been forewarned) - the toaster in the room literally jumped in time to the amp! So it all depends on the kind of stay you've got in mind. As a cheap place to doss down after a night out, it's fine. If you want more than that, well, not so much.

Stayed in this B&B so me and my friends could have a night out in the city. It was really close to the city. If you wanted to walk, around 20mins, but a taxi was so little money that we chose that option! It is a live music venue, so don't expect to get an early night if that's what you're planning! Breakfast is left in your room - Bread, cereal, milk, orange juice, butter/jams. This is perfect for people who don't want to get up early and are happy to eat at their own time!!
All in all, good value for money.. brilliant place to stay for an inexpensive night in the city!!
