After being told to "WAIT!" at another Italian Restaurant in Norwich, we decided that we wouldn't !
So having seen Paolo's so often, but reluctant to enter as we thought it was a chain, we finally plucked up enough courage to enter.
Its a well decorated Restaurant although you need to be a little careful not to be placed on a table underneath or in direct line of the speakers. Talking is impossible if you are on these tables.
The menu is extensive and although a little hesitant decided on the Pizzas as we had seen some being served on another table.
Simple, no-frills, tasty pizza. As someone else commented, the best in Norwich and I don't doubt it.
The wine list is better than most, though not what you would expect in London.
The service was fine. Friendly.
I do think that larger groups may have a problem as their were only 2 waiting staff and they seemed busy.
But do go. Its just typical of what you can find in this fine city.
