Description: Frank’s Bar is a cafe-bar in central Norwich. We have filled our bar with good food, top drinks, marvelous music and general chilled-outness. We’re happy for you to enjoy Frank’s Bar in a range of different ways, whether it be with a coffee, glass of wine, tasty meal, or cheeky nibbles we’re really quite flexible. We like to make Sunday’s special as well by offering a fantastic Sunday Breakfast menu (served from 11.00 - 6.00) and a classic afternoon film (screened in the back room) along with the usual selection of great coffee, good papers to peruse and general loveliness.

Visited Franks Bar today with friends. The food was amazing and although it was full, there was a lovely calm atmosphere with a great buzz. It was very relaxed and the service fantastic. Will definitely be coming back!!

Sort of pub, closer to young hangout - nice though, food offerings solid and tasty (and they serve at the odd hours many places don't - mid afternoon). Hard to find in old Norwich, but worth looking for...

My partner and I often frequent Frank's Bar... a great place for a lunchtime snack, chilled out after work drink or relaxing Sunday all-day breakfast. Always reliable, it's become one of our favourite places to visit in Norwich city centre.

The vibe is very rustic / arty / studenty, but without being pretentious or grotty. Service is always great, staff are polite, cheerful and helpful. The food and drinks are always good and pricing is also very reasonable. Great Vegan breakfasts are a regular feature of a lazy Sunday.

As for other reviewers saying it's small and not "Child Friendly"... frankly, that's part of its charm!
Frank's is small and cosy, so the sense of self-entitlement displayed but some parents we've observed visiting the place is somewhat bemusing... seeing couples storm their way in, reluctant child in tow, thinking it's acceptable to take up a table for 6 with their child's detritus, whilst blocking walk ways with their buggy/tank...

Some establishments are for adults who want to wind-down and relax; they're not a crèche or intended for children.

Franks has to be one of my absolute faves in Norwich. Not only is it beautifully designed to make you feel completely at home in a very stylish, colourful way, but it also serves up gorgeous food. With a constantly changing international menu, it sparks great interest for dinner. But the best thing on the menu, in my opinion, is the baked eggs at brunch! Wowee! These are delicious! Got to be tried.

Loved the vegetarian breakfast, very refreshing to see something a bit different on the menu. Liked that Frank's also catered for a vegan diet too. Lovely atmosphere and great decoration. It's not disabled friendly as it's very small and has lots of steps/stairs which I didn't appreciate. All round nice time, left very full and content.
