After having heard good reports of this restaurant and seen it consistently busy we decided to give it a try.
The decor was definately on the dated side, but nonetheless there is a pleasant welcoming vibe when you enter. The waitress was very attentive and the owner pleasant enough though definately a man of few words!
Sadly on the negative, the tables are too close together and cramped and the service left us feeling rather as if we were on a conveyor belt as it was quick order, quick delivery and quick to get out. None of that relaxed dining feel that you hope for when out for a special meal.
The food was as ordered and no complaints on size or quality, however it also wasn't amazing or anything to rave about, and so sadly for the pricing, we didn't feel it was great quality.
Final little niggle, was that you are only able to order wine by the bottle, which wasn't great as I didn't fancy beer, and having ordered a whole bottle, we ended up drinking it in a race at the end of the meal as we felt urged to move on from the table.
Probably won't revisit in the foreseeable future.
