Past this little gem loads but never had chance to pop in.from the moment i walked in and discovered i could order straight of the menu i was instantly awestruck by this place, with its past time decor and relaxing atmosphere to its absolutely charming staff. I ordered the mushroom lasagne salad and chips and boy i was not let down! with its creamy bechmele sauce and tastey mushroom and spinach filling and just the right amount of cheese all freshly cooked, how could i say no to a helping of black cherry pie and custard. Portion sizes were spot on for lunch time giving me that full but not to full feeling, allowing me to go back to work feeling very satisfied and energized. If your looking for a warm home cooked meal in a place that you can relax in that's not going to break the bank this is the place for you.

This was my first visit and I thought that the place was really lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful. i ordered quiche with a side salad. The quiche was obviously freshly home made and delicious. The side salad was also crisp and fresh. The only thing that let the meal down was a sachet of mayonnaise as I hate theses fiddly little things. I think that in an establishment of this quality I would expect a small dish of mayonnaise not a takeaway sachet.

We first visited the summer of last year, and have been coming here for tea and parmos with our friends every other month. Lovely atmosphere, and great staff who are more than eager to ensure that your time spent with them is also lovely.

Nice pots of tea between the four of us goes a long way.

Parmos are so tasty and juicy and the chips are cooked perfectly.
