“Poor could be better”
Reviewed January 30, 2013 via mobile

I use to like going here for a curry. But you come to realise your on a conveyor belt your rushed from start to finish. By the time you take your coat off the poppadoms and drinks are there. I prefer to be looked after and not rushed and feel relax. It's like being in McDonald's for Indian poor.

“Birthday treat”
Reviewed January 29, 2013

Very busy Sunday evening , hadn't booked however we were seated quickly and made very welcome, we were a family of 5 ,all catered for, even the fussy 6 year old thoroughly enjoyed her meal and the attention to her as the youngest,
Food was superb and service prompt and attentive, was our sons 17th birthday and he thought was a great night.
Will definitely return.

“Not for me”
Reviewed January 28, 2013 via mobile

Admittedly we went late on Saturday night but it was too busy. The food although nice gave the impression that it was preprepared in bulk rather than authentic cooked to order.
I have no real complaints but I prefer the smaller 'authentic' restaurant.

“fantastic food, worth the journey”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

We were brought here by a friend who lives in Yarm. That is an Indian turban wearing friend who lives in Yarm.So we had a bit of a drive but it was well worth it for the sensational cuisine.

The food was absolutely fantastic, we didn't get too far beyond eating lamb seekh kebabs and the other grilled meats and prawns, they were simply terrific.

All very simple and the surroundings are not that fancy but this was great north indian food, highly recommended.

“Favourite Indian Restaurant”
Reviewed January 26, 2013

We eat here often - the food is excellent and the family naan bread especially is to die for. The service is second to none. The restaurant gets really busy on Saturday evening so if you prefer peace and quiet I would recommend Sunday evening. Takeaways are also very good- food is packed in a cardboard box and stays hot for ages!
