My wife and I popped in for an evening meal on spec without booking.
The Lady Manageress was more than welcoming and fitted us
at very short notice and seated us at a very cosy corner table.Food was
first class and nicely presented

Have had several stays at the lodges, I proposed to my wife here in the hot tub! Absolutely excellent place, lodges are fantastic, really good value, awesome hot tubs, really good location. Owner and staff all fantastic people. Food really really good. Haven't been for a while due to wedding but will be returning soon.
This place is a " must visit" .

Decided to come here for my sisters birthday meal. On arriving we were impressed with the picturesque surroundings. On arrival, the staff were so friendly and polite yet remained professional. The food was absolutely astonishing! so tasteful and full of flavour. They were brilliant with my little Boy aged 3! The atmosphere was so happy and welcoming.
Everything was so reasonably priced and every member of our party had no complaints. We even managed to squeeze a dessert in! It is safe to say that we will be recommending Whinstone View but also be returning customers.

We stayed here in winter time and sitting in the hot tub with a chilled glass of wine watching the snow was beautifull. Some snuggerly robes provided for when you get out to go and sit infront of the fire in the Lodge. We had a lovely stay and would not hesitate to stay in the Lodges again for a special occasion. We stayed in the 4 person Fleure Lodge.

We had to go to England for a hospital trip for one of my daughters down in London, but chose to stay in the area to be close to family. I had been unable to secure accommodation for our trip and was boarding the plane in a few hours and mercifully , they returned emails very fast and sorted something out for me and my family.
You can rent the lodges with breakfast and more included but we were given a package on a self catering basis , which more than suited us we like to very much come and go as we please without rigid planning etc so it was perfect for us.

i didnt know what to expect , I had seen pics on the internet and living in Arabia , often nothing is exactly as it says on the tin. We had the blue lodge. As we drove up I was in love inside was perfect. Beautiful decor tastefully done excellent extra touches it was very private , my daughter named the resident peacock Oliver lol he came by everyday . It is in a lovely rural setting , but is minutes away from small market towns and various town centres and there are great links to the main roads there whether you want to head to York , or head North. Nothing is very far away yet every night you could retire to this lovely peaceful haven. We celebrated a family members birthday there and the evening meal was excellent. I found the staff friendly flexible they were happy to help anyway they could.

I would go there again in a flash , in fact it may be my new place to stay every time we return to the Uk , providing they have vacancies of course its a very popular place.

We stayed here for three nights in mid August in the Kuki lodge, and it was absolute perfection.

The lodge was beautiful with a lovely comfy bed, gorgeous bathroom and fully equipped kitchen and living/dining area, as well as a spare second bedroom. The whole lodge was spotlessly clean. The view from the lodge is of trees and hills, very idyllic. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The only thing we could think of to improve the lodge is wi-fi, but this wasnt missed.

Of course, our favourite thing about our stay was the hot tub. In both the sunshine and the rain, it was a great way to relax and unwind. The lodges are placed perfectly for privacy, with curtains on the side of the veranda protecting your modesty when climbing in and out if it.

We ate in the bistro one night and chose a table on the terrace. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We will definitely be returning.

The lodges are in an ideal location, nice and secluded but close enough to Stokesley and Great Ayton if you want to go out, or need anything

We loved our stay here and we can't wait to go back!
