If u have ever been to India and miss that food then you must dine here at least once. Its not the British Indian. Beautiful curries, attentive polite staff and lovely happy atmosphere. Little hidden off behind the putney mall but worth the trip.

This is an extremely expensive restaurant for average quality food. The lamb biriyani is £ 15:00. A small glass of house red or house white will set you back £ 7:00. Also, they just add 12.5% Service Charge on to your bill without any questions. The service was rather poor. The waiter looks as though he needed to have forty winks. Not sure what everyone is raving about - I have eaten in far better places than this at a fraction of the cost. Perhaps its a London thing?

Dear Sir,

Thanks for your feedback however if you found lamb Biryani for £15 which is a full meal in itself expensive then I being the chef don’t know what to say. The menu clearly says discretionary service charge and the service you paid for is the service your get on your table right from the moment you walk into the restaurant. Perhaps you are used to the Mutton Biryani served as lamb biryani outside london, than the actual lamb which is 3 times the cost of mutton.

Due Apologies we were unable to please your tastebuds and pocket as we cannot lower or alter the quality of our products. Wish you had mentioned this when you were asked at the table by the manager, rather than choosing to be a food critic online.

Everyone raves about our quality and consistency of the food, it’s flavor, our warm smiling service and the fact that they are able to enjoy a regional speciality indian cuisine in London, only one if it’s kind in England.

Thanks & regards
Razdan

The Karia Ghost is without doubt the greatest lamb curry, and perhaps curry that either myself or my fellow diner have eaten. The Kashmir spin on the Chicken Tikka Masala is also a fabulous dish. Will return.
