Booked last minute with two work colleagues as a pre Christmas get together. On booking we were told our table would be by the bar but we were not fussy given it was last minute and the week before Christmas.
On arrival however we were given a table in the main restaurant. Although absoluyely packed we did not feel to cramped. We were offered drinks whilst we selected our choice of food.Sevice was polite and efficient, especially commendable given how busy they were.
I started with french onion soup which was piping hot and delicious, thorughly recommended. As a main course I selected the chicken tagine. Again this was hot and really tasty, reasonably spicy but not over poweringly so. The olives and peppers were cooked to perfection.
Portions were plentiful and such that we chose not to have desert.
Overall a very enjoyable and pleasant experience and I would have no hestiation in returning.
