“Wonderful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 2, 2013

This is a lovely little gem just a few streets up from the hustle and bustle of the Shoreditch hub (but a mere few doors up from popular hangouts "The Griffin", "Casita" and "The Book Club"). We had impeccable service from the waiters and one of the owners, who was both charismatic and attentive. The acorn fed Iberico pig was absolutely delicious! Looks and tastes exactly like a steak which is pretty mind-boggling. Was a little pricey at around £40 per head, but definitely worth it. Will come here again.

“business dinner”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 25, 2013

My third visit to this very reliable Shoreditch venue.
Good service and ambience and totally trustworthy kitchen means this will always be on my short list for future corporate dinners. Last time I went it was 70% full but think quality and the recent demand for dining tables in Shoreditch/Hoxtom means that it is again 100% full and the atmosphere obviously benefits as a result. Quality restaurant all round.

“Unexpected Iberian Cuisine”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 7, 2013

Enjoyed my meal here. A large slab of goat cheese for a starter was a great start to a lovely meal. The pork was outstanding. The desserts were excellent, a tasty saffron crema catalan. The wine list is an exploration into Iberian wines that ventures beyond the obvious choices. The low key decor is a nice change from over designed restaurants of late.

“Lovely meal, great service and enjoyable night”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 29, 2013

We had a lovely meal, going for the signature acorn fed pork, which was absolutely delicious. The wine list was extensive and ranged from £20 to £90 a bottle. The only downside, and it may be just personal choice but there were no desserts that I liked on the menu so we skipped it. Great service and a busy atmosphere but we weren't rushed at all, would recommend a visit.
