Liked the meat, but too much raw onion in the salad. They kind of rushed me out after I finished my meal, to seat other people. Nice enough, but will not return.

This is by far the best Persian restaurant I've been to in London. The food is great, servings are generous and they bake the bread just in front of you, in an oven at the entrance. We took starters to share and mains for everyone plus tea and a dessert to share and paid little over £20 per head. Their dippings are delicious and go fantastically with the bread they serve. Their speciality is lamb (marinated, diced, minced) and they serve it with rice or bread plus a grilled tomato. Both the rice and bread options are delicious: you can really taste and smell the rice, and the brad that wraps your skewers if you take the bread option gives the dish a very appealing look! The place is small, well furnished with nice lamps and it really creates a nice atmosphere. Service is excellent: great waitresses and everything comes quickly. Desserts are nothing special, so if you're still hungry I'd recommend you get some more mains or typical dishes. The only drawback is that, this place being very popular, we had to wait for 45': they don't take reservation, but the good thing is that they would take your name tell you hiw long youand have you're gonna be waiting for, which is actually how long you really end up waiting, and then have you wait nextdoor where you can taste freshly squeezed fruit juices while waiting. All in all, an excellent option to dine and spend a nice night! Plus, you can BYO drinks, which is great!

Alounak is one of the best kebabs I've ever tried. Its just so tender and juicy. However, the price is queit expensive. The naan bread is just out of this world and the rice just tickles your taste buds

Met friends for dinner based on reviews and found that this place was a fabulous value for the money. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The dining area is not large, so it was cozy and intimate. We had a truly lovely meal.
