Description: Maroush Express may well be the busiest of the Maroush restaurants, particularly in finer weather, when it's not uncommon to see a queue trailing from the doors and extending along the street - though the restaurant seats up to 50 people. The multi-coloured glass tables create a bright, fun atmosphere - the cosy yet lively environment, coupled with fantastic food & service, attracts everyone from families to business people to a younger crowd later in the evening.Open noon to 1am, 7 days a week

“Ok and pricey”
Reviewed June 11, 2014 via mobile

Went to Maroush Express recently with a friend to eat. Started off quiet but as the time went by, it picked up. The tables where a bit crowded together. The food was a bit pricey for my liking and it was a little dry as well.

Could have hoped for something better for the price that we paid but never mind.

Maybe second time round will be better

Thank Fatima31

“on a par with dining in beirut”
Reviewed June 5, 2014

my favourite amongst the marsh chain, having visited beirut a few times i can say that the cuisine on the edgware road in london is right up there with the best in the lebanon, and the marsh chain is at the forefront of this. maybe the veg dishes and meze , while excellent is not quite as good as beirut, the meat dishes are probably the best lebanese meat dishes in the world. i prefer the informal nature of the maroush express , it is still fully licensed yet service is fast and the full menu range served at their other outlets is available here. if you do not know what to order the staff here will help you. the food is delicious and healthy and free fruit and or baklava is usually offered at the end of the meal. how i wish they had an outlet in manchester.

“Very disappointing food lately..”
Reviewed April 27, 2014

we've been coming to this Maroush establishment for three years now, quite regularly.
The food here always use to be consistent (even though service was just average). lately though, the food has become stale tasting as though it is prepared way in advance.
the falafel wraps which always had hot fresh falafels, heaps of salad and a good amount of sauce have now turned to medicare ghosts of their former self - cold, sparse and dry.

Other dishes too have changed considerably and to top it, on our last visit, our hummus beiruti had a ripe fermented flavour such as sour yogurt. We checked with the waiter and he assured us it was definitely what we ordered! Shocking to find they were serving it in this condition.

Pitifully disappointing, will not be going back anytime soon.

Head to Borough Market to taste what genuine Lebanese street food should taste like...good idea for management to do the same too!

“Very delicious; friendly service”
Reviewed April 21, 2014

Had wonderful food here - cucumber and mint salad and a lamb wrap. Lamb was incredibly flavorful, so much so I ordered a second wrap. I sat at the bar which was wonderful to watch the food being prepared - all fresh ingredients. It smelled amazing. Quite reasonable prices considering the quality and the neighborhood. You also complimentary bread in the beginning and dessert at the end. Will return!

“Good for a quick bite”
Reviewed April 18, 2014

Small place with high demand. You could really wait long for seating specially on weekends. If you're on your own, you can use the bar seats that will save you significant time instead of waiting. Authentic taste Lebanese food. What I like about it is the fact that the meat was so lean. Being on my own I had not to wait long before being seated and the service was fast
