Bella italia as a whole provides great food. HOWEVER, this particular one doesn't need to provide excellent service to get the customers as is has constant foot fall. We had 12children and 9 adults we were told that there was no lasagne and no pizza. After ordering there were other meals that were not available and no garlic bread. One member of staff was in such a stress we thought she was going to cry and had frequent arguments with another member of staff in front of the customers. However, one woman was very kind and entertained the children, letting them all use the pepper grinder. THANKYOU!!
We visited 2 other bells italia's while in London and this as by far the worst however the other two provided wonderful service and exceptional food it's a shame this one lets them down!

Thank jordan f

“A typical chain”
Reviewed February 23, 2013

we visited this restaurant on tuesday 19th Feb. The time was around 6pm and it was quite busy but not packed out, we didn't have to wait for a table. Our food was ok,nothing special but then again nothing wrong with it either. However, the level of service left a lot to be desired! We waited for over half an hour for our desserts and for around 25 minutes there was no acknowledgement of this at all. Every time we tried to catch someone they just sailed past, when we did actually get someone's attention to complain the attitude was very nonchalant, not overly interested or concerned at all. In the end after waiting around 40 mins we said just forget it and get us the bill and I must say that the staff member didn't really seem bothered at all. Have visited Bella Italia before and never had a problem, but I do feel that this is just another chain who fill the tables , churn the food out and move on to the next lot of customers without any thought at all. Just a step up from Mcdonalds in service but not in price!

“An ok experience. Good if you are after something cheap and cheerful.”
Reviewed February 23, 2013 via mobile

A nice restaurant with a big menu. I ordered spaghetti bolognaise, something quick. It took 20mins to arrive and I found the pasta was not cooked properly so had to send it back. 20mins later the next I e came which was fine but the sauce was more like a stew than freshly made beef! Service was pleasant and helpful but slow. Not the best meal by any means and I suspect I was just unlucky.

Sunday tea time, no pizzas or burgers available so we opted for pasta. It was average/ok for this type of restaurant. Space is limited and my husband was knocked every time the waitress went by. Then we were charged for a drink we didn't have. But we ate all our food and were satisfied.

“What no food??”
Reviewed February 19, 2013

Having visited many Bella Italias around the country,we decided on our visit to London to book, we knew what we were getting, and after a previous bad experience at Beela Italia in Liverpool, we wanted to give them another go.
Big Mistake!!
Arrived at the restaurant which was absolutely heaving and shown to our table in a room which resembled a school canteen. We were then told that there was no Lasagne?? and some of the pizzas were unavailable. OK presume this to mean that no meals are cooked from fresh, and are shipped in. We decided to go elsewhere!!
I say no more.
