“What a great local pub”
Reviewed July 16, 2013 via mobile

This is a pretty pub in a difficult location, as it is not really anywhere you would happen to walk by...my assumption is that it is mostly for the residents of the area. But what a great litte pub! Nice and welcoming decor, an even better service and - while the menu is not overly creative - the quality of the ingredients and the flavours are amazing. Not cheap, but very appropriate given the quality. A must go if you are in the area.

“Fantastic Sirloins in a old facility”
Reviewed June 11, 2013

This London Chelsea Pub and Dining Room is small and old. The dining area is not much to look at but get past that and after our 21 day stay in England this was by far the best steaks we had and the price was niddle of the road. The barkeep/server was fantastic and had a great sense of humour. We stayed 6 blocks away so this was an easy walk. On the way back we walked an extra 2 blocks along the River Thames looking at boats and the River. If you have reason to be in Chelsea this is one place to stop for a great sirloin.

“A great Sunday lunch”
Reviewed June 10, 2013

Decided to spend a Sunday walking on the northern Thames Path west towards Wandsworth and Putney Bridge. So different to the South Bank. It was all very quiet despite all the plush apartments with the multi-million price tags.

Whilst staying on the path, came across this pub and decided to stop off for a spot of lunch. It was full of locals enjoying a pint and some lunch. The service was good and the food was lovely. Had the rib eye and was asked how I wanted it cooked - a sign that the roasts were not mass produced. My husband had the pork belly and said it was the probable the best he ever had! Considering where we were the price wasn't too bad either.
