“A must-see easy to reach by public transport or just walking”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2013

Once designed as gateway to Buckingham and now settled close to Oxford Street and Hyde Park. I like this white Arch despite of its allocation between buildings, close to the road... which doesn't help to appreciate the beauty of the Arch (no enough space for viewers if I compare Marble Arch and Wellington Arch)
Of course, Visiting this area... I cross always under the Arch :D

“Beautiful park”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 13, 2013

Very interesting place to people watch and just soak up the London background. The arch was huge and impressive. It definitely makes a good place for meeting people.

“A nice arch”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 9, 2013

It’s a nice arch, as arches go, beautiful to many people. But not especially outstanding, to me. Perhaps that’s because it’s lost its original purpose, as the gateway to Buckingham Palace. Having been moved to the edge of Hyde Park, it’s something to look at, but there are so many other, and more interesting, things to see and places to go in London. But it’s still a nice arch.

“Nothing Special”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 13, 2013

Marble arch was designed in 1827 by John Nash as the triumphal gateway to Buckingham Palace. It located at the corner of the Hyde Park at the cross between Park and Exford Streets. It is a monement that stands at the intersction with a park around it for relaxing. Usually it contains some homeless people.

“Beautiful!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

The Marble Arch is beautiful but at a very busy place. Located on the corner of Hyde park and Oxford street. Lots and lots of traffic. And street bums. Straight behind it is a bus terminal.
It's a shame I think that this beautiful arch is situated on a little square in the middle of traffic.
