Very convenient location next tothe tube. Good food and very nice service. I was dining alone which can be uncomfortable but I was made to feel very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

We ordered several vegetarian dishes for takeout.
The pricing was reasonable and all of the dishes were very good.
What was really impressive, the whole order was available in less than 10 minutes.

One doesn't normally associate Bayswater's Chinese restaurants with frienldy service...but that doesn't mean that they are not busy. New Fortune Cookie does things a bit differently; the staff and generally happy/smiley and cheerful.

The food has a fresh, clean taste about it and the Salt n Chilli baby squid is very good. The Crispy duck (with pancakes) is very nice too and the portion sizes are more than adequate.

House wine priced competitively and tap water served without attitude. It might just be our new Bayswater favourite!

Starter of shredded duck was fine. Hot and sour soup resembled spicy dish water and didnt taste muh better friend left his.Next course was a prawn dish and squid in batter. The prawns tasted as if they had been refrozen and defrosted the squid in batter was tender and only tasted of salt. I wouldnt go back here again. the price was £18.5 each + 2 drinks @ £3.75 each, the non itemised biil i later realised came to £47.6 which was probaly a service charge which i wouldnt have paid as the man chopping the duck up had smoke stained fingers, oh and micro wave was used. Why do resteraunts add 12.5% service charge on totel bill when there is 20% vat i hate paying the 12.5% on 20% tax. refuse next time.
