As a Platinum Elite Member, we were warmly greeted upon arrival and the front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly, explaining all our benefits and offers to us clearly. We didn't get a complimentary room upgrade as said in our benefits because as a Holiday Inn Express, they don't have much differences in room accommodation to offer that. Same thing happened to us at the next Holiday Inn Express so IHG Members -- we are better off with bigger hotels if we want to take advantage of our benefits!

We were offered 300 amenity reward points (instead of choosing welcome drinks), 500 pts for Staying Green (skip one night of housekeeping), and we got 15% all food bills. Everything we ordered were of very generous portions at affordable prices. Everything tasted very good included the soup and baguette, green curry, and chili beef and rice. Breakfast was good. The only downside was the overall space -- room was on the small side, including the bathroom. Reception and breakfast areas were also a bit crowded but not too badly. The space usage reminded me of hotels in Hong Kong. Over all, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Last word on the neighborhood -- it is in West Ealing and in a mostly immigrant community of lower income. Things were not as glamorous and there were beggars (not as badly as in downtown London) but we enjoyed being part of regular folks' communities. We ever felt unsafe in the whole 5 days we were there.

Room tip: If you want a quiet room, ask for one that faces the court yard. Our window was wide open the whole time and we didn't hear a sound!

When we travel to London my son and daughter (16 and 22) lobby to stay here. They love the area and love the hotel. We're IHG members and stay in a variety of HIE, HI and CP and this is one of the hotels they love most. Staff are very friendly and it's very clean. Being HIE the breakfast is included.

Excellent staff, very helpful, polite and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble. We had an issue with our sink which was sorted quickly, efficiently and to our complete satisfaction.
Breakfast was included and was well presented and great value for money.
Our room was very clean and comfortable.
Highly recommend, a great base.

If you're okay with one hour to the main attractions and not in a hurry this is a great budget hotel to stay. Comfy bed and linens, all the good facilities and the most friendly staff, excellent breakfast, and grocery stores nearby. The neighbourhood is a bit sketchy.

Thank you for staying with us on your holiday stay!

I'm sorry to hear that the area is not up to your expectations as there are a lot of work taking place to re-new the area and there should be many new amenities around the area in the near future.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights with friends, as we were visiting Kew Gardens,it is very clean and staff are friendly and helpful ,the rooms are very good and the beds are comfortable there is a good range of breakfast including hot items, you can also grab a bag and take croissants , muffins or bacon rolls.
Would definitely stay here again , we had a taxi from here to Kew Gardens which cost £17 each way , the hotel is surrounded my restaurants and there is a wide choice of food available
