We were looking for a pleasant meal in the Euston/ King's Cross area and having read the reviews, chose African Gallery Kitchen. The place did not disappoint. Food was good and there was plenty of it. The home-made ginger beer was delicious. We started with sweet potato balls, and shared a portion of rice with the mains - I had black beans in hot sauce (it was quite hot; note that there was no mention about it on the menu), and my mother had lamb. The dishes were simple and wholesome.
The owner is very friendly and was helpful and considerate to us and other clients. He seemed happy to help when selecting dishes and was pleased to provide more info on their contents.
The place is very small. We had no booking for a Wednesday night meal, and there seemed to be room for everyone who wanted in, but I'd suggest making a reservation, if you want to be sure of getting in.
Will definitely go again.
