Been to this Strada a couple of times and although it's a little squashed sometimes as it gets quite busy, the service is fast and friendly and the meals are great. Much better than the Covent Garden branch these days, which used to be very good but is now disappointing!

A little Italian place near the Covent Garden which serves excellent pasta and pizzas at affordable prices. The Strada is in fact a restaurant chain (scattered across different locations throughout the central London) offering a good value-for-money eating experience in a comfortable ambient. The staff is pleasant and the food arrives quickly. I tried several different things and everything was deliciously prepared. A sort of "bonus" is the fact that this restaurant chain offers vouchers, making them even more affordable; even the food seems to taste a little better with a voucher :-)

Arrived early prior to theatre visit, very busy but not rushed. Service good and friendly. Food freshly prepared and real pizza flame oven. Food price reasonable, however shocked at over £5 for a bottle of beer!!!!

A little Italian place two blocks from our rented flat near Covent Garden. Small but tastefully appointed, and with an open pizza oven shooting flames up a flue. The spaghetti Bolognese was a big hit with a flavorful sauce not always found these days. Penne bufala was also good, but a saltimbocca was a bit strange, as it was a slab of pork with bacon rather than thin-sliced veal and prosciutto; plus mashed potatoes? Oh, well, I'm not perfect either. Still, not a bad little local garage to fuel up in the big bad city of London. The wines by the glass were also fine. Good job, Strada.

I went there twice for lunch and would recommend it. It doesn't have a chain restaurant feeling to it. The service was fast and efficient. The food was v ery good: I had a pizza the first day (delicious, generous topping), then pasta. Good value. I would come back.
