Great real French food in Central London . Come here if you want home cooking fare lovely fresh oysters and meat seems a strong point. Good wines as well. The wine waiter is a bit pushy but easily dispensed with room very plain and noisy but great food

This a stand-out restaurant in Mayfair. Great food and service in a typical French bistro setting. All the classics, plus a wine list to die for.

This French restaurant in the heart of London's Mayfair hidden away just behind Piccadilly in the misnamed Shepherd's Market does provide the guest with the fleeting sense that they have been whisked by Eurostar to the heart of Paris! Every possible space is filled with a table all of which are ' réservé' and as the attentive apparently French waiters guide the punters up the narrow staircase a buzz of international chatter meets the ear. The menu offers a range of tasty but typical French dishes , beautifully presented and with an equally tasteful price tag . A well-stocked cellar complements the menu to enhance the dining experience set out on the web-site.

I'm not a big lover of French cuisine, but Le Boudin Blanc may have changed that. Absolutely the best Bernaise sauce I've ever had, along with the calamari appetizer (entrée, in the European sense) and the steak I had as a main. The wines were well chosen by the sommelier, and the service was impeccable. I actually didn't find the menu all that pricey, as others have mentioned. But, I'm used to NYC prices. Food that good in NYC would be much more expensive, for sure.
