Being from Sardinia, it's not easy to impress me when it comes to fish! Villa Moura is a warm tiny restaurant with very nice staff. The menu is simple and interesting. All food (fish) ordered was good. White wine a bit warm but it may be my personal preference. Recommend sea bass with lemon and pine nuts.

We went here for dinner on a Weds evening to celebrate a special occasion. I'd looked at the menu online and so knew what to expect. There is one page of meat dishes, two pages of seafood and one vegetarian dish, so it's not really a place that's suitable for veggies. It wouldn't kill them to make it a bit more veggie-friendly. We had three courses each, two glasses of house wine, two soft drinks and two coffees; it came to £75 without a tip. The food was consistently good. The service was friendly / casual rather than super efficient but the place has a nice atmosphere and there seemed to be a lot of regular customers (all couples the night we were there).

We re-visited for the first time in a decade or so- we had the Amazon Local offer 2 mains and a glass of wine for about £30 and our son went al a carte. Food great ( tiramisu was not the best- could not taste any masala) house rose v drinkable. Service not overly slick but ok.

It's not as good as the Portuguese restaurants we've been to in Stockwell, but it's local and we will re-visit!

Second time in this restaurant, first time after the renovation.
Much worst than before (loss of atmosphere with the new layout) but once again great food and flawless service. A new waiter seems to have brought a new dinamic to the place.
A very professional service coupled with, once again, delicious food made my night worthwhile once again.
Thank you Villa Moura.

Hello again Marylin! Thanks for your continued custom and useful feedback, it certainly helps us to improve our service to customers. Your comments on our new decor a duly noted. We are actually in the process of redecorating, so you didn't experience the finished article when you last attended us. We still have a little work to do and I assure you that the end product will be a dining experience that is warm and contemporary. We should be finished by the next time you visit us, so I look forward to hearing your opinion!

We had a family meal at this restaurant and were perplexed by the number of staff. However, we understood why as later on it became very crowded so I recommend you book. The staff were attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The food is Portugese with a strong accent on sea food. We had baby squid and monkfish with a mustard sauce and I would highly recommend both of them. The wine list was good and we had a Portugese white wine which was very reasonably priced. The decor is sea themed with the big clue being a boat outside. The whole three course meal for four with drinks was around £120.

I am glad to hear that you enjoyed your experience at Villa Moura. I am also glad that you enjoyed our baby squid dish, our chef's hit the jackpot when they created it and it is definitely one of our favourites.

We look forward to seeing you again in the future!
