Can't fault it! Admittedly we've had a window for both stays but the rooms are fresh & clean and the TV is huge (noted for the men reading this), also has sky... But, the best bit - happy hour! Not sure if the wine & cheese happy hour is everyday or a gimic that won't last - either way - its fabulous! Breakfast is also really good. Pastries, continental breads, cheeses & meats & fruit cereal & yogurt. Even the coffee is pretty reasonable. Highly recommend. The rooms are small so if you're there for a long stay - it might get a bit uncomfortable. Excellent location too.

My boyfriend and I stayed here the night before he has an operation at the eye hospital down the road. Old Street station is just a couple of minutes' walk away. We didnt have breakfast but there is a Starbucks and other coffee shops nearby.

The staff are great and very friendly.

The rooms are a little unusual, the one we had was in the basement and didn't have any windows. This didn't bother me and I enjoyed the unique cabin feel, but it's probably not for everyone. The room was lovely and dark so I slept very well.

Don't expect any privacy as the toilet and shower are literally in the bedroom with just a glass panel in between!

The room itseld was very funky with a large TV integrated into the wall, and buttons to operate the lights etc.

Overall a good night's sleep for the price and I would stay here again for the same purpose.

Have stayed in the sister hotel in Victoria before but was eager to stay in Shoreditch. Excellent value at £70 per night on trivago especially as you receive complimentary cheese and wine of an evening. Great location and a short walk to shoreditch high street and walking distance of spitalfields market. Will definitely stay here again and we are already looking at planning another visit.

The location, although not central is very close to a tube station that can put you anywhere in London in a few minutes. The rooms, although our choice was without window, are great for a short stay in London, if you plan to stay longer maybe a window makes a difference. the amenities were fab and the staff so friendly and helpful that we could not make this review without mentioning them. At the end of the day a complimentary wine and cheese gathered all the guests, and let me tell you that after a day walking in London it couldn't be more welcome. After staying on over 15 hotels and B&B's in London this is by far the best experience we had.

This hotel was an absolute gem in expensive London. As others have mentioned, the rooms are small. But they're very well laid out. They include a bottle of water, hair dryer, soap and shower gel, and a very nice flat screen tv, which featured numerous channels. There's also umbrellas available up front.

The continental breakfast was quite good, featuring a nice coffee machine and an excellent selection of breads and rolls. There were also juices and sparkling water available. The staff also offered tea if you preferred.

I only was at the hotel during the wine and cheese once, but it was also a nice touch
