We loved staying here! Lovely big property just 10 minutes walk along the canal from Angel. All advertised amenities were available, including a bottle of wine and chocolates! Iron, hairdryer as well. Great for up to 6 adults if you don't mind sharing double beds and one of you has the strength to climb into a top bunk. We slept with the windows open and there was barely any noise during the night. Lovely characterful house. No issues getting access and there was help on hand if needed. I'd advise you bring a torch with you for any night time walks along the canal. Some bits are very dark and you'll have trouble with your footing. Felt perfectly safe though. A thoroughly lovely stay!
Party of 6 adults stayed in the house over a weekend. Comfortable, well laid out accommodation. Large kitchen/diner in the basement provided an ideal setting for eating and entertaining. Used the sitting room only briefly as a busy w/end but it was comfortable and spacious. Hadn't realised the third bedroom contained bunk beds, but we managed without mishap!
Location excellent. A short walk along the canal to Angel, where you can find all you may need in terms of shops/ restaurants/ bars and entertainment.
Would use Arlington Ave again as a base in London.
We stayed at 53 Arlington Avenue as a family of four for two nights. The house itself is beautiful and clearly a home. It was tastefully decorated and thoughtfully kitted out with everything we needed.
The area itself is beautiful. This rental is one of dozens of rows of elegant Georgian terraces, two minutes from the characterful Regents canal and around ten minutes walk from Angel tube. It's so peaceful and calm that it's hard to believe this is central London and just one tube stop from Kings Cross. Arlington Avenue gave me my best holiday night's sleep.
Even though all the arrangements were made remotely, the owner was extremely helpful, emailing a useful list, and our visit went like clockwork. Our teenage boys were grateful for the wifi and there was a bottle of wine and chocolates waiting for us on arrival. If I had one suggestion at all, it would be to buy a cafetière for the kitchen as we'd have liked to make fresh coffee in the mornings whilst we were waiting for our teenagers to wake up. That said, it meant we had to take a most enjoyable canal side stroke and try out the many coffee shops.
Thank you Diane for a thoroughly lovely break. I do hope we will have the opportunity to come back some day.

We stayed two nights at 53 Arlington Avenue, a holiday rental in Islington.
The location was perfect, just minutes from the attractive Regents Canal and a short walk from Angel tube station.
The house was clearly a home and was tastefully decorated and thoughtfully kitted out throughout. It was one of rows and rows of elegant Georgian terraces which characterise the area, near a quiet, peaceful square. Despite being only one stop from Kings Cross the area was so quiet, it gave me my best holiday night's sleep yet.
When our two days were up, we truly did not want to leave!
